So, here's that fic that I said I was working on. Finally finished and at a point where I don't completely hate it anymore. :)

I LOVE IT. This was happy, schmoopy, fluffy goodness! And I love that you told it from Andy's PoV. Your Traci/Andy interactions were great, and I loved the detail from the parade scene.

Edit: The date stamp means that this won't show up on people's feeds today. You might want to fix that so everyone can share the happy!

Aww, what a great Andy voice! And I love how she ended sharing her news with Noelle first. It's kind of fitting in a way. And THANK YOU for not going that 'she doesn't tell him until the kid is FIVE' route that so many fic writers take. Hahaha. They were proper adults about it.

Thanks! Haha, it would probably pretty hard to hide a kid from Sam if they worked in the same place.

Wow, this was wonderful! Thank you so much for a nice long piece (those are always my favorite!) and you have Andy's voice down so perfectly, her mannerisms, her inner thoughts, her avoidance techniques and defense mechanisms and her sarcasm. There were so many parts that I had to stop reading and laugh out loud cause it was so perfectly Andy.

I love how you set up the story in this sort of blissful post-under cover haze where they're just enjoying themselves but it's like a bubble where they haven't talked about a future or their relationship and what that really means. And for Andy to face the bubble popping alone when she gets the pregnancy news was really gripping to read. I'll admit, when you mentioned her making the appointments, I was really scared for a second there that she'd go through with an abortion and not have the baby. And the thing was, you wrote that so perfectly, her fear and her decision because it's obvious that her issues with her mom have messed her up so she can't see herself being a mom. But having her change her mind when she hears "congratulations, you're pregnant" and the doctor smiling, that was a perfect touch.

I also really like the mentions of Luke throughout this. They're not forced but it's only natural that as she's in this new relationship with Sam, she's thinking back to Luke and how quickly she'd jumped into it and how they would have been married and how it wouldn't have worked out. I also love the thought of him at the end where its' not bitterness but just a sort of "goodbye" in the sense that she now knows what she wants with Sam and she's happy about it, and she hopes he'll be happy too. The relationship was not good for either of them, no doubt about that, but you did a nice job of showing how those thoughts were weighing her down until she could finally let go of them.

Lol @ all the babies when she's riding around with Traci. Definitely a sign. ;) You wrote their talk so well, too, I love their easy friendship and support for each other, the quick responses and sarcasm.

Andy doesn’t even want to read the package labels too closely; she wants to pretend that she’s buying toothpaste or tampons or even condoms. Especially condoms because then maybe she wouldn’t be in such a state of panic now. The cashier at the register gives her a smirk, like ‘how pregnant are you,’

but she also kinda figured that the universe knew she wasn’t mother material, what with the fledgling ability to act like a responsible adult when she's off duty, and the being frequently shot at when she's at work.
The last part made me laugh haha, aww.

She feels so guilty, but Andy knows that she’s got no poker face outside of an actual poker game
True that! Poor Andy alone in her cold apartment. That was so heartbreaking to read cause you just want to yell at her to TELL HIM!

Noelle's last advice is simple. "Then quit acting like one."
This was just so perfect and a lovely surprise to have her spilling her guts to Noelle. Not just cause she herself is pregnant but I love how it's almost like she's caught at the store buying her own vitamins and finally the secret is too big that she has to spill it and Noelle is there to listen, like an "elder cousin." Which was perfect for me cause some of my older cousins are my best friends! But I love the idea of Noelle being so motherly and listening and offering her advice.

Nothing will spill her secret faster than walking up and down the stairs to the washrooms every ten minutes. Or everyone will probably think she has a UTI.

And even though Sam's already been told that Andy is sick and probably contagious, he hugs her tightly, half crouched over her, warm hand on the back of her neck.
This was just my favorite. Cause that's exactly how Sam is. He has to get to her and hug her and hold her and make sure she's okay and then he'll worry about "oh wait, is she contagious?" SAMMY. ♥

Andy realizes suddenly that on that day nine weeks ago when she thought she’d lost Sam, that they'd been too late for a rescue, he’d spent hours wondering if he’d lost her too. If she’d been killed while he was being held hostage by Jamie Brennan.
Yes yes yes yes yes. And then having Sam tell lame jokes at the car to make her smile... MY HEART. (Also I want the answer to the tomato joke haha!)

He's already driving differently, slower, checking each intersection before he passes it, not speeding thorough yellow lights. She'd probably be incredulous, checking for a pod person, if she weren't so deliriously happy.
Oh I just love that line. :) I love how it sort of shows how he's already caring in extra-special ways for her and their unborn child and omg unborn child, THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY! :D :D

Also you get bonus points for using "McSwarek" in the story hehe. :D Just reading this makes me want to re-watch the show cause now you have me missing their faces! Awesome job on this, was such a joy to read, thank you. ♥

OMG thank you so much for the wonderful comments! I haven't written fic in such a long time, so it's ~so~ cool that people actually like it. ❤❤

We should totally do a fandom rewatch! I think the mods at the community omg_rookieblue are planning one for after the holidays.

And the (bad) joke goes like this:
What did the mama tomato say to the baby tomato?--ketchup! lol
